•       Mandatory Approval: Authors must confirm that their research involving human participants adheres to the ethical standards set by the appropriate institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee.

•       Informed Consent: Authors must obtain written informed consent from participants for participation in the study and publication of the data.

•       Manuscript Statement: Ethical approval from the relevant institutional ethics committee must be provided and disclosed within the manuscript.

 

2. Research Involving Animals

Any research involving animals must comply with national and international standards for the care and use of animals in research.

 

•       Mandatory Approval: Authors must confirm that all procedures were approved by an appropriate ethics committee.

•       Reporting: The manuscript must include a statement confirming compliance with ethical standards for animal research.

 

3. Data and Research Integrity

Authors must ensure that the data presented in their manuscript is accurate, complete, and free from manipulation. Fabrication or falsification of data is strictly prohibited. Authors are responsible for ensuring the integrity of the data and must provide raw data if requested by the journal or reviewers.

 

4. Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses

Systematic reviews and meta-analyses must be registered in a publicly accessible database (e.g., PROSPERO) prior to commencing the review. Furthermore, the reporting of these studies must strictly follow the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines [2] to ensure transparency and completeness in the methodology and findings.

 

5. Authorship and Conflicts of Interest

Medical Insights adheres to the guidelines regarding authorship and conflicts of interest. All authors must have made substantial contributions to the research and must disclose any potential conflicts of interest (financial, personal, or professional) that could influence the interpretation of their research.
